Bega Cheese Factory: Tour the processing plant, taste the famous cheddar cheese.

Eden Killer Whale Museum: This museum is one of only two in the world with a complete killer whale skeleton along with many other exhibitions. Learn about the whaler, who was swallowed by a whale and regurgitated, unharmed, 15 hours later.

Minnamurra Rainforest: A 400-hectare Garden of Eden full of cabbage tree palms, staghorn ferns and towering Illawarra fig trees along Minnamurra Creek , 18 kilometres west of Kiama.

Cat Balou Bay Cruises: Sight-seeing cruises around Eden's Twofold Bay in search of dolphins, seals and birdlife that operate all year round.

Family History Centre: Located at the Kiama headquarters of the Australian Genealogical Society with some of the best family records in Australia.

Kiama Blowhole: The formation of two holes in volcanic rock, 300 metres from the town centre, which blow great spurts of water high into the air when the swell is right.

The Pinnacles Walk: A spectacular gully, with multi-coloured rock faces, leading down to the beach in Ben Boyd National Park, 20 kilometres south of Merimbula.

Terrace Houses: Built in 1886, they are the oldest timber terraces in New South Wales. They were restored and now house excellent arts and crafts shops. Located in Collins Street, Kiama.
